Wasn't it called a gank so it really doesnt need a spike. Plus this build can get you in and out if you dont kill the target.

I'm not even sure what "gank" means precisely.... but the build looks good, from my PvE perspective.

Admittedly, I'll usually opt for Assassin's Promise rather than Mobius Strike since I'm typically expecting to kill the enemy in one combo and there aren't any "Lotus" dual-attack skills... but this option would negate the need to point-dump into Deadly Arts.

How well does it work on bosses?

I'm sure wondering if this would be a viable means of taking down Glint in Dragon's Lair? I still don't have that bonus... (though I'm considering asking people to play Spinal Shivers + Battery necros, then running in with Icy Daggers). Beguiling Haze might help too if Glint can be Dazed. ^_^

I don't think Glint will like that. She has some skills that own melee users.

Also, by ganking, I meant ganking NPC's in an enemy guild hall. But there are better builds out there for that.

"Gank" comes from the phrase "gang kill" and refers to the practice of multiple players ganging up to kill a single player or NPC. For example, in GvG players sometimes try to gank the opposing side's Guild Lord in an attempt to achieve a fast victory

Trust me.... I know. I have witnessed them first-hand... despite having the old Disrupting > Fox Fangs > Exhausting type combo to attack her with. I was told she needed to be interrupted, so interrupt her I did. Apparently I wasn't good enough though. She needs the kind of constant interruption offered only by being Dazed or snagged with Spinal Shivers.

Maybe next time I'll just take Spoil Victor with me and attack with my Evil Eye Staff (+5 Energy, +5 Armour) from a distance.... ¬_¬

During the 8v8 weekend I've been running 4 sins, 3 monks and a weapon rit.

3 sp/boa and my yangansin(Some variations: Impale, Shields Up!(bye bye Rspike), Disrupting Dagger, Dash, Pious Haste,Boa. Whatever floats your boat )

Combined with Splinter Weapon, I could quite easily create some serious havoc on 3 or more people. Enough for the monks to panic, and my other sin buddies to wreak havoc in the chaos. We were also unspikeable by a bonder, and vital weapons from the rit. FTW.

Doesn't Splinter Weapon only work for one attack though?

Still not quite the same overall effect as Mark of Pain then (since that lasts quite a bit longer, generally) .... but I see your point. Both of 'em together along with Death Blossom could produce quite a bit of nastiness in a hoarde.

Yeah but the great thing about Splinter Weapon is that it stays for like a minute. You can pre-buff all sins, then spike, and have a huge aoe effect. It only has 5 seconds rc too. So it's still quite superior.

Do you find yourself getting screwed over by Shadow Walk? I've been finding myself a little too helpless for 30 seconds....and I think someone played a practical joke on me by painting my suit pastel green or something. I'm being targetted like mad.

Finding that I can't even use that skill since I never know when I'll need to use Feigned.

Nope, it's my favourite shadow step. As Yan says, deadly paradox FN.

@OP: I tried it in an AB, and although I've gone back to my own I've come here to give you kudos for the build, which works well indeed but doesn't suit me. Sadly, I must also inform you that those points of niftiness were deducted on account of the name and earlier Naruto reference, leaving you back where you started!

hmmm any1 ever heard of shadowsteps???

If ur in ha or ab when ur in ur mob u run in with the tanks and when u are "the target" u run in the back lines when all ur eles with sf kill the tank.

And lately i realised: natural born tanks are sceptical of assassins coz of the melee competition, the other day a guy tht i met in ha wanted 2 show me how much assassins suck. glads defence and riposites as usual...

i tried something new unseen fury +blinding powder= a dead tank

I have no clue who Naruto is whatsoever. Some anime char. I've heard some people talking about Naturo= cool and "my sin looks like naruto". So I figured I'd say that to defend myself.

Naruto is one of those overly popular anime series with a large idiot fanbase.

The main theme of the series is ninjas..... various sorts of ninjas..... HENCE the large idiot fanbase.

See... when I think of ninjas.... I think of Hanzo from the Samurai Shodown games. Definitely MUCH cooler.

... Wheee... Hanzo Sprite! ^_^

[Excuse me.]
